The food was tasty, but my room's kettle was really dirty.

The fish and chips I ordered were fresh, generously portioned, and served hot, making for a satisfying meal.
The lack of a hair-dryer in the room was a minor inconvenience for me during my stay.

had a great value stay in this beautiful village! bed was super comfy and room was spacious. breakfast had loads of choices and the guy serving was really welcoming, def made the meal special. loved the cozy vibe of the place, a nice escape for my solo trip. the pub had a warm atmosphere, felt really chill.
the shower took some time to figure out and the wifi was really spotty. coulda used a bit more attention to the cleaning in the room, like the kettle was kinda grimy.

My time at Halfway House Inn was quite delightful. The cozy atmosphere took me in instantly, especially the inviting bar area with a warm fire. I appreciated the clean, spacious room, particularly the modern bathroom. Breakfast offered a great variety. the full English was freshly cooked, which I absolutely loved. The beer garden was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the sun. I found the shower quite confusing to operate, almost requiring a PhD to figure it out. the lack of a mirror in the room was a minor hiccup, but the staff promptly assisted by providing one from the corridor. Noise from the street was noticeable at times, especially during busy evenings. Still, the overall charm of the inn and its vibrant atmosphere made my stay memorable.

stunning coastal location, historic charm, dog-friendly facilities
Noisy rooms facing the street!!! Outdated bathroom facilities could really benefit from some modern touches!!! Weak Wi-Fi connection in rooms led to frequent frustrations!!! The lack of allergen information should be addressed for a better dining experience!!!

The location right by the sea was perfect for family outings, especially with our dog along for beach walks. The food was delightful, especially the chowder we enjoyed during lunch, which was warming and delicious, just what we needed on a chilly day.
My wife says that a bedside table would have been handy.
